People Using DHA Name

I am very astonished to see that it is not surprising to see societies advertised on tv and which look very genuine but they turn out to be fake.

In Lahore, DHA City (EME sector) that was advertised very heavily on tv in fact is not the real DHA, EME sector.

In fact, the actual Defense Housing Authority has denied that DHA-City is a real DHA project.

This is why DHA-City has its own website of www.DHACity not of the real DHA website.

DHA-City is using the name of DHA with some kind of mili-bhagat.

The real EME sector is DHA EME sector. The real one is the best residential locality of Lahore.

Overseas Pakistanis, usually cannot tell the difference. Notice the similar sounding name: DHA (EME sector) and DHA City (EME sector)!

Can you notice the small difference of 'city'.

In fact the location of DHA City EME sector does not even exist!

If you go to Zameen.com's listing for DHA city in Lahore, some members have advertised plots in DHA City EME sector (which is fake) but have used location maps pointing to DHA - EME sector (which is genuine).

If you ask DHA (EME sector) management, they say they have nothing to do with the so called DHA city (EME sector). Then why are people allowed to advertise DHA City plots and use location maps pointing to the real DHA EME sector?

I think the management of www.Zameen.com has a responsibility to investigate this and reveal the truth. And it should also take down at least some of the misleading property ads under DHA City Lahore.

I know Zameen.com appreciates your participation in different discussions and will also like to encourage your concerns for the benefit of general public. Undoubtedly, you and other regular contributors of this forum have a good analyzing eye for real estate sector but there are many potent factors in this field which cannot be put behind.

For example, in the past, people have been wandering for years keeping their files in hand and begging to be bestowed with the exact piece of land (like Bahria and DHA itself). Actually both DHA EME Sector and DHA City are under control of army engineering core (according to words of mouth and media). Furthermore, DHA is not a soft pill that anyone can swallow it easily - they can sue anyone for using their name illegally. According to common resources, they are looking for bigger piece of land therefore they haven't announced the final location (but is expected in next year in may). So let's watch together till the time comes.

Your suggestion for selection of map for ads on Zameen.com seems to be worthy of attention so Research and Editorial team at Zameen.com should do the needful because the location of DHA City has not been defined yet.

Any one cold tell us the true news about DHA City Lahore, because since 2010 we are pay installment and until know no location has been announced. Does anyone know, please let us share the facts.

DHA only have DHA Rahbar, EME and now willing to buy KMC, before buying always visit DHA Lahore.
