Hello folks. Many societies would benefit and also see some price appreciation due to the islamabad expressway expansion. Would someone prioritize which societies would benefit the most and which would not in terms of capital appreciation if this project materializes. Thanks
Yes diffidently Dha 2,gulberg , jinnah garden and other societies which are connected with express way but question is islamabad express way expansion will approve and happen in future ?
Let think to have some petrol to run our cars ,express way expansion is still very far !!! at least not in this corrupt government…PATWARIS have no idea where we are heading…
Yeah this is an obvious capital gain project for the circumferent societies… like DHA Phase 2, Canyon Views, Gulberg, jinnah Garden or may be some new upcoming societies as well. We can say this but as we hear about the ground breaking of this project.
I thought it was already approved by CDA and tenders were completed. What happened to it afterwards ?
I heard the same after metro this would be the next project to execute. Yup petrol situation is not good but it wont continue like this in the future pls i also heard there has been some agreement of the present government with saudi arabia to buy cheap lubricants which would further reduce petrol prices to around rs.60 inclusive of taxes
Will DHA Phase 2 Extension get any boost in its stale prices due to the Expressway even though the project’s fundamentals are not correct yet?
I think dha valley can get boost but not dha2 ext as it is very far away from expressway

Nadeem bhai you mean expressway expansion is going to take a very long time to materialize??? i thought next after metro would be this project on priority list.
If this government is to stay for next 3 years, Express way is very likely to happen IMO. In December CDA asked for bids with designs.

I think this project may happen soon also because it is the election area of Chaudhry Nisar. I was told by someone that the underpass construction on 7th avenue is for next phase of metro bus till rawat, not for existing route. Also housing societies over there are very strong so they will also want it.

Chaudhry Nisar belongs to Chakri not that area.if you travel Pindi to chakri then you can see what is the situation of the roads and infrastructure of that area which is his homeland.he lost his hometown seat and next time he will lose Kallar Syedan seat which is not his homeland.
This project will take time more then five to ten years.Let's just wait and see what happens.

Hmm nadeem bhai that does not seem very promising. It would not affect dha as it is picking up due to its own good standards and development but other societies nearby do not have that good development standards and rely upon expressway expansion for good gains. Would that mean for the next 5-10 years it would be better to consider just dha for investment?

I replied to ZG and i didn't mention Dha or Dha projects.That's not what i meant.this project will take time because of big project.
Metro is front of you and you can see the progress at Murree road and it's not a very big project.
