Housing schemes outside cda limits but claim to be in islamabad

There are many housing schemes which are being advertised to be within islamabad cda limits but in fact they are not.

I have open this thread to all members to list the names of societies which are not in cda jurisdiction.

This thread could be disturbing for many…the list of schemes is long…some are Faisal town, Wapda town, blocks e, d,f of B17, etc…

B-17 D,E and F is definitely outside the ICT.A and B blocks are definitely within ICT limits.

The doubtful block is C block. Because as per CDA NOC C block is in Phase 1 which is inside zone 2. And as per CDA circular all 18 series is outside cda limits.

Can somebody clarify this confusion?

You are right B-17 A and B blocks comes in CDA limit. C,D and E blocks are not in CDA.

Others in this club include are…complete lot of housing societies Near new international airport Top city, Mumtaz city, Graceland, PECHS, Fazaia tarnol, Awt, E19, university town, etc and many more…saga continues…

Any chance of including 18 series in ICT as recommended by master plan review company hired by cda.?

I don’t think Changing the boundaries of cities and provinces is in the domain of CDA…from which province they need to borrow land???

Islamabad master plan has been reviewed by a british company in recent past.i think company name was mcdonald.a lot of recommendations have been given by this firm. As per their recommendations islamabad should be expaned in all directions to accomodate more residents.They rrecommend to expand zone 2 till motorway.

Million bhay you are right. They will have to take approval from punjab and kpk. This is mentioned in their report. And these are just recommendations and will definitely need political consensus.

As we are now identifying Housing Schemes which are out of CDA limits; the question arise how it may affect the expectations of investors having investments in those areas with the understanding that they have invested in Islamabad. Secondly, how the value of property may affect between within vs outside Islamabad.

So many sectors of Bahria town comes in Rawalpindi but it is still most demanding brand by people of twin city.

The reputation of brand more matter than city limit.

Investment point of view it does not matter much. Good development standards,brand name,road connectivity etc matters.

For living it matters a lot because you cant apply for Islamabad registration,domicile etc as you do not live in ICT limits.
