Description
I have an area of 17. 7 Kanals, fully walled with 6 ft walls all around the compound. There are 2 x sheds (double story construction) of 450 ft x 50 ft inside space giving us a capacity of 35,000 birds in summers and 38,000 (each shed) birds in winters making a total of 70 - 76,000 birds in total. In poultry terms it means roughly a target of 120,000 kgs to 130,000 kgs per flock.
The sheds walls are insulated with Styrofoam as well as the roofs with multiple types of insulation's. All machinery; that is to say the water pipes and dispensers and the feed lines including the Augers and the Shutter Trays etc are all imported from Germany (branded. . . Big Dutch Man). There is no blending of any material with the German equipment, its all German. The doors and the ventilators are also German.
The Exhaust Fans are Mexican whereas the Computers are 12 Points Computers imported from USA . I have 2 x standby diesel generators; 1 x Cummins (British) and the other is Daewoo (Korean). They support a load of 75 KVA each whereas our requirement is roughly 55 KVA. I have my own electricity transformer.
We have separate accommodation for labor, separate for the management and visiting DVM's. I have made a 2 x room set for my self and family in case they accompany me on their days off. I have an office and a computerized weighing station which can accommodate any single axle double wheeled trucks.
I have also installed 2 x Charcoal Brooders (fully automated and integrated with the control panels and computers), for the sheds. They are extremely cost effective. Apart from this we have Bio Controlled wash rooms between the sheds and the labor accommodation.
Brother we designed the farms with a view for future expansion. . . meaning that we have room/space enough to be able to construct 2 x sheds identical to the ones we already have within the same compound and furthermore there is adjoining land available to us for the construction of a slaughter house.
I have installed all state of the art equipment with a view of a 20 x years plus project. The sheds are approx 1. 5 years old and fully functional.
I have 3 x sub-surface water drills(bores) and an American (GE) water filter.
