ABOUT G-10 ISLAMABAD
Initiated by the Federal Government of Pakistan in all major cities of the country in 1988, the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF), Islamabad, is a housing project aimed at providing better residential facilities to its employees on an ownership basis. The housing project is registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan, under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984. FGEHF allotted about 19,458 plots, 1,595 houses, and 1,589 flats in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. The housing scheme comprises different phases – Phase 1 to Phase 5 – and Prime Minister’s (PM) Special Allocation is also a part of the project. Every phase is divided into various sectors and sub-sectors; for instance, PM’s Special Allocation comprises Sector E-12, D-12, I-8, G-11, and Sector G-10 of Islamabad. G-10 Islamabad is then further divided into G-10/1, G-10/2, G-10/3, and G-10/4.
