Status of Alhamra Hills Farm Housing Scheme Islamabad

Somebody has suggested the name of the subject scheme as an investment project. The website shows that the scheme was launched in 2006. However there seems to be little information on this forum.

I wanted the forums advise as well as information about the scheme. When is it expected to become active. Has possession of plots been given to the buyers. Have people started to build houses. What is the share/role of Shaheen foundation in the scheme. At this time is it good as an investment for 5 year plus period. What is the market rate for plots. Thanks in advance.

The name behind al hamra country farms is reputable i.E. Habib rafiq. However, development status is so far very basic and no population. The facilities and beauty shown on website is not matched by the ground situation - only a good gate and basic roads. None of the parks etc shown on the website are yet available.

In this regard, we have to note that bahria town and multi-professional are better. They deliver what they promised more or less on time. Anyone can make a good gate, but to deliver all the facilities that were promised for that very few names comne to mind. In the past, it was dha. It still is but not as much as before because its projects like dha valley are lagging behind.

Bahria town has a good record. Multi is also very good. Its farmhouse scheme is already well on its way and their location is also not bad considering that you will have to drive most of the way on m-1 motorway. For al hamra hills you have to pass through villages and then nexct to housing schemes before you reach the farm house community.

Dear Pk1

Can you please tell us where is the Bahria Town farm house project located and what are the prices there.

Thanks.

Bahria Town farmhouses are in Bahria town Lahore. They are located on canal road and the prices are very high - 50-60 million plus for 4-8 kanal farmhouses.
