I really feel being some experience of IT that its very easy and do able to track the real tax potential. Only thing we lack is the WILL and the WHALES, which impairs us to do so.
Latest is (as heard) that SBP has refused to shared any of the account holder's data with FBR (needing double check).
FBR is a bunch of incompetent lot that knows only 1 way, i.e., threatening and making worst out of any situation.
Its the big fishes that matter, working class already pays each possible paisa in the name of Income to sales/product/goods tax on each single entity being utilised without any notable incentive in return.
Most important factor hampering tax collection is Trust Deficit between Citizen and the State. Big fished were, are, and will in foreseeable future remain untouched.
