I am soon visiting home (Islamabad) and have a little hard earned money (around 1,600,000) which i want to invest in a plot for medium term. The aim is to secure a piece of land now and later after 5-6 years sell it to finance my own home. But don't have any idea where should i invest with this little money as prices are so high. Any help and ideas?

Buy two plots and sell one to build house in other plot after 5/6 years. Check property listings according to your budget.

My sincere advice to you is to go for one 8 marla plot in block d of B-17 and in five years this will be fully developed for construction of own home inshAllah. Also try to find a 7-8 marla plot in block C of B-17 in the range of 16-17 lakh.
