What do you think has been the average rise in construction cost over the last 2 years and what is the future outlook over the next 2 years?

Construction cost took a big big jump after this government took over. It was sudden and unexpected. Material supplier took great advantage from it.
But this year, there is not much increase.
Imported items depend upon dollar price and local material depend upon diesel and electricity price.
But only an expert in construction industry can give estimate of per year increase regularly.
Inflation is by the way around 8-10%. But they take into account food basket and minimum living standard for estimation.

Because of political and other issues in Pakistan, property badly disturbed in last 2 years. Investors are moving abroad because picture is not clear for next 2 years too. That`s why we cannot give a specific statement about property but improvement is not good in coming yeas according to my predictions.
