Is there any other way of getting construction quote means not in sq.Fts ?
1.Labour rate contracts where owner provides materials and contractor provides labour force. 2.Item rate: each item like windows, doors,electrical,concrete has separate rates. Regardless of method of measurement cost is same as contractor do their own estimates to avoid loss and get profit.
Amir there are two ways to construct a house. 1. You finalizes the deal with the contractor so called THEKEDAR and he asks you the lum sum amount. 2. You ask the contractor to construct step by step as i say means you have to arrange every thing your self like laborers, material etc all the contractor is responsible is to head them.. & the contractor will charge you for his services.
We usually don't go for the second step because it is comparatively difficult and at the same time a full time engagement duty. You may ask the contractor the whole lum sum amount for the house.. That won't be in sq. Feet :)
