What is the approximate cost of 2-story house built on 1 kanal plot in islamabad.
I know the main difference comes upon the type of finishes, however for approximation purpose you may take mid-to-good type of finishes.

And how much is the approximate covered area of a double-story 500 yards house ?

Typical 50x90 house has 2600 feet covered area in each floor. Terrace or porch roof is separate. Mumty is also separate.
Ground + 1st Floor + Mumty = 2600+2600+400= 5600 sq ft.
Other expenses are projections ( Chajja ) etc, boundary walls, gate, electricity n gas meters etc etc.
If you have budget, try to have small basement for servant quarters and give servant bath on ground. It's the best combination.
Though everyone has different requirements and preferences.
