I have a 16-m plot in military accounts, college road, lahore. I want to build house there, the ground floor covered area is approx. 2600 sft. 1st floor is 2100 sft.
I need labor only, per sft rate for covered area, alongwith other item wise rates for main gate, boundary wall etc.

Hasan. In Islamabad labor rate for cement work including tiles etc is Rs 210-220 per sq ft for covered area. Boundary wall is said to be extra work which is calculated separately. It can be calculated as per actual basis like total labor involved plus 10% profit of contractor.

Hasan instead of giving expensive contract to hi-fi design/contracting firms, you can simply hire an experienced mistri and ask him to do it with daily wages good labourers. But you will have to make sure the mistri is a good man and you will have to supervise by yourself (also get some engineer’s help to do a few visits every two weeks).
