Length of standard sedan cars is around 15.50 feet. You can calculate roughly as 16 feet.
6 feet width is appropriate including side view mirrors. But 8 feet width should be left at least for doors to open. 9 feet is ideal to be more comfortable.
Thanks a lot Mr Malik. It means a clear 21ft long and 14ft wide parking space will be enough for Corolla or Honda Civic.
21 Ft is quite long and you can reduce it too if your space is tight and can used for some other purposes. Likewise if you increase width from 14 to 16 or 17 ft , than two cars can be parked simultaneously.
