Salam.
I constructed a commercial plaza having area 7 marlas.I constructed basement ground and first floor.For second floor,shuttering for roof slab was fixed and sarya/rebar was put over it.I couldn't get it filled with concrete and sarya was left exposed to heat and rain water for 6 months.Though it didnt rain much.Some showers couple of times.Now the sarya is rusted.I talked to my contracter and he said he will diesel shower sarya all over roof and rust will fall down.He said its fine if its rusted.
So should i go ahead and get it filled or replace sarya,though thats expensive.
Sarya/rebar i used is amreli 60 grade steel.
