I would like to get into the real estate business with my own capital. I have a small capital of 2.5 million (25 lacs). B-17 is a sector i am familiar with and trust the developers. I intend to buy and sell plots with my own capital - buy a plot at good price, sell with a small profit as soon as possible and repeat.
With my capital, i can only afford f or g block 25x50 plots which cost roughly between 25 - 30 lacs. I plan to buy a good location plot and then try to immediately sell it for a tiny profit (3-5%). Although i am not sure how much taxes i will have to pay and if the taxes will be equal to these small gains.
Is this feasible and doable?
Please advise on the best approach to start this business. Note i do not want to be a property agent working on commissions.
