The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) has announced its amnesty scheme for building plan approvals for the residents of the cantonment area.
Using the RCB building plans amnesty scheme, the residents will be able to get layout plans approved within three days. They will also not have to pay any fines for not having their building plans approved before the construction of their homes. This development follows the RCB’s previous move to identify around 30,000 residential units that were paying taxes, but without approved layout plans.
As per the RCB building plans amnesty scheme announced, the owners of these 30,000 units will be able to get their layouts approved by paying only PKR 100 — with this token fee ranging between PKR 100,000 and PKR 150,000 during normal circumstances. The RCB has also offered to approve the building plans within just three days upon the payment of PKR 2,500.
