RMC to charge double regularisation fee from building by-laws violators

RMC has notified building by-laws violators in its jurisdiction about regularising their premises.

Previously CDA had notified new parameters for sector e-11 in order to regularise the high-rises in the locality.

While all these efforts are good, i am worried about the affectees in this matter. Is RMC going to compensate the shopkeepers whose shops would be removed in case the building is encroaching state land/or space for other amenities?

RMC has indicated in a report that many residential and commercial buildings have illegal constructions. It has notified to demolish these structures or seal the premises if the owners don't get these regularised.
