Impact of NAYA PAKISTAN on Property Market

I think overseas Pakistanis will now invest in Pakistan inshaAllah as they think, rightly or wrongly, that PTI will change the fate of Pakistan. I hope they can do it but lets see InshaAllah.

Secondly the decline in the value of Rupee against the Dollar has put a lot of potential investments within the reach of Overseas Pakistanis.

Property Market will start to rise slowly but surely after Eid and keep increasing gradually.

Do you all agree? What are your thoughts?

Lol. Are we moving from free market to socialism?

This isn’t really a free market where mafias operate, no level playing field, files scam, rich not paying tax, untaxed income buying real estate, state institutions related with infrastructure responsibilities working dubiously

Atleast three marla schemes should be introduced for poor people at government level, it could be small appartments projects.

May be we should wait to see the fiscal policies of the PTI government to fully assess the impact on the real estate market.

What about Gawadar property market? Any impact?

InshaAllah every thing go good Property will down/static and investment in Industrial sector to increase our country wealth and economy.

Hope this Govt will not do same mistake as previous that invest in Property and car financing.

Must be invest in productive and growth for country not in Property.

Property boom is just like "Kuwain ki matti kuwain main" wali baat hai, artificial boost, industrial sector must be strong if we want to make economy strong, focused must be on exports not imports.

Naya or Purana Pakistan - the facts remains same that there is a serious short fall of houses and owning a home is ever body's dream/ambition/desire so property demand and prices will grow.

Its just that Pakistani Property Market is like Stock Markets with so many options that rises and falls based on news and speculations rather than actual events/developments. Whenever there is some pause/stagnation for whatever reason (Ramzan/Summer/Elections etc.), its a general misconception that property market is slow/crashing etc.


In my view property demand/prices are proportional to the population growth. In last few months, I have seen some people claiming with conviction that real estate is crashing or going to crash soon so stay away, however, on ground events ad data suggest a steady growth. Ignore, if someone has already bought something on higher price as per Market Rates for whatever reason and didnt got the same or higher offer - thats not a crash that can be an individual's issue.

After election there is a palpable upsurge in the following areas:
Islamabad (Zone 1): G13, D12,
Islamabad (Zone 2): Multi B17, Cabinet E-16/17, JKCHS G15 F15
Islamabad (Zone 4): Bahria Enclave, Bani Gala, Park etc
Islamabad (Zone 5): DHA 2 and 5.
Lahore DHA: Phases 7 to 9
Lahore Ring Road: Bahria Orchard, Lake, Fizaya etc
Karachi: BTK - Ali Block

how much upsurge or percentage of increase has been witnessed in B-17 & Cabinet in the post election era.

In Cabinet, roughly 20-25%. In B-17, the wave started pre-election but may be attributable to impending elections. In Multi the price increase is healthier about 35%.

Wave of optimism in Naya Pakistan. As PTI is for greener Pakistan, we will surely see some housing rules for environment friendly Societies like Park View…

Investors are still waiting for the new policies related to real estate sector, no one is going to throw his money blindly.

Sheikh bhai Lots of one kanal in B-17 Block C are trading in the range of 70 lakhs to 85 lakhs depending on location. They were around 55 lakks to 65 lakhs earlier this year.
