Just saw on Facebook that the Capital Smart City (CSC) is launching an ‘overseas prime block’. Apparently, the news suggests that it is a planned block on an elevated location with a special focus on the landscape of the residential area. It is designed by a Singaporean infrastructure consultancy firm, offering 7 to 40 marla-plots. The block is located on the highest point of the CSC with a waterfront view, mountain range, and an 18-hole golf course – following international standards.
I am sure you will find the rest of the marketing pitch on the media channels soon enough. But I do wonder if it isn’t a ploy to get some positive attention after the ‘one-after-another’ disastrous news about the Lahore Smart City… Comments, anyone?
