I give my observation of residential plots auction by cda today. There was unusually high enthusiasm. More than 100 tokens sold by 10 am. I witnessed following auctions for g-10/2 plots (40x80). All in street 12 in one line. Price is per square yard for 355.5. In addition 5% wh tax. 478: 60000 479: 58000 480: 58000 481: 60000 482:60500 484: 64500 487: 63000 495: 66500 I feel cda will accept all above 60000. Is'nt it very good. Any comments?
What is a cda auction and what does it portray? Is it for commercial plots which they want higher prices or for a new society to create buzz?
Cda auctions different properties that it owns whenever it needs money. These include commercial as well as residential plots. Cda does not have socities. It is a semiautonomous government institution taking care of development of islamabad. The above is just a report of residential plot auctions that was carried out on 25th. It reflects the current prices in the developed sectors. (g-10 is fully developed and inhabited for the last 20 + years). Thanks bro for this great effort in explaining to me. It seems like a very good option for getting the properties at possibly at a cheaper price( by chance of cource).
