Assalam o alaikum,
I am a young MBA from a Well known university in Lahore. Looking at the current market situation of the JOBS, I wish to start the business of property dealing, sales, purchase rental and possibly construction etc.
I wish to seek advice from all the seniors and experts, what's the prospect of choosing this business as a career. Please reply.

Business is a very good way to express your talents and to earn some good money and a good name in society.
It is a good business but if some one is doing it as a social work not only for earning. Business always depends on your interest so choose that field in which your interest level is high plus I would suggest you to join any good real estate office as a worker for 3 months. Just take it as an internship. It will help you a lot to decide weather you should choose it as a career or not.

Can you please further clarify the sentence (but if some one is doing it as a social work not only for earning).
As for as I have learned... a business should have an entity only for profit making and earning purpose, how it is to be mixed with the concept of social work?

Now a days its a social work if i am selling a plot on just 1 percent commission because in market there is a top culture Many dealers only work for top.
2nd thing is that for commission usually we lie and misguide innocent people.
I think so it will clear why i use the word social work. :)
Dear brother seek job and become part of any dynamic organization,instead of property dealer invest wisely in property and earn profit as side business

What you said about the principles of business is very islamic and in clear contrast to socialism and capitalism which focus on money making by hook or crook as long as you can attract costumers. The result we see is decline in barakah in the western world in no matter what you make. Islam has laid down the principles in business which should have aim of helping people and to please allah. This was the only way of spreading islam in north africa and far asia by our great muslim incestors. I have eemaan whoever indulges in business primarily to benefit the people for the sake of allah will never regret it and will have both the worlds and whoever wants it for money will never get the peace we all strive for.
Sir following should be your priorities... 1-start ur business with the name of allah the most beneficent and the most merciful. 2-always keep ur thoughts and eeman clean and crystal clear.(niyat saaf). 3-it is a very good business if u do it with sincerity. 4-never deceive anybody and dont tell lies to anyone for money. 5-charge 1% commission with full confidence without hesitating and no top culture. 6-always try to arrange the meeting of both parties with each other(face to face deal) so that there should no ambiguity.
