Can anyone, please, tell me about al-haram city, rawalpindi. How is this investment for constructing a house there.

Are you asking for Al haram city phase1 or phase2?Phase1 it's at chakri road it's really good in reasonable price and so many people are living over there sui gas+electricity+water available in town.
Access form chakri road from Kalama chowk 11Km and from Sadar GPO 13Km.Access chakri road is not in good condition because of careless Ch Nasar but i hope very soon it will be double because it's pass already.Plus point in future the construction of Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) new campus at Chakri Road will be started soon and link road for new airport will be there.

Again bundle of thanks.....for correctly guiding....so phase1 is best for investment or constructing a house....does commuting from and to is easy from Saddar, Rawalpindi....or i choose e.g Iqra city...which is bit near to main saddar.....or any other locality. ...looking for advise......
Al Haram city has reasonable development standards but most important thing is that management is active and maintaining it properly. Its future will mainly depend on the ring road project if built because chakri road is not in that good condition.

I am totally agree with ZG and i already conform before about Chakri road.Al Haram City is better than Iqra city becasue it's developed.Another option Pir Mehr Ali Shah Town which is safe and near 7Km form GPO Sadar.Fully developed and with all facilities+in every mint local transport.Neat and clean land with town NOC.There is no any Qabza Group risk free just in town but at chakri road becareful.Prices are reasonable 110000 to 140000 depend on location.My good wishes and lot of prayers for you.

Today i visit Pir Mehar ali shah and find it very reasonable priced mostly around 1.20lakh per marla and around 40-50% populated, get to know society is very old but most of the houses..construction activity is recent.
Drawback is not very well planned,that is no proper commercial area and no parks..etc but society enjoys good commercial activity on main road.
Society has more then one entrance probably 3(as told) and have seen 2, some of the streets were carpeted as well.
To me in low budget( with all the facilities electricity,gas..) specially if you have interest( family relatives, grown up,etc..) in that nearby area its best and has lot of potential to increase in price and is safe(No qabza group..).
And for others who have to wait for 1year or so to have a reasonable savings(3 million or more) for good location plot they can park there investment here(<1million).

It's good for long term.There is short term chance also when Gov start link road which will pass nearby to new Airport.
I think plot is cheap and good option than house.
If you like house then you can find old house 5 marla single story in 2.5 million with electricity meter+gas which is close to chakri road and Al Haram school.
