A friend and I are thinking of buying plots in Bahria phase 1-4 of 10 Marla, building double storey houses and then selling on.
Does anybody already do something similar to this? Is this a profitable business?
Dear Ali ahmed its a good idea and already many people are doing this. This is a profitable business but if u have good labor and also good contacts in market. Also check bahria phase 8 for this purpose u can start at a time 2 projects there in that range. In construction single project is not v profitable as compared to 2 or 3 projects at a time.
This is a very good and profitable business but you must be very good/ experienced in this.

Well, how long it takes to completely finish a house is a function of several variables, however, assuming everything falls into place (meaning, you already have a plot, an approved map & sufficient funding) and a reliable labor force (since you won’t make much profit if you hire a contractor), it should take you around 6-8 months.
