I don't want to spoil this forum , so voluntarily quit this forum for ever , because i feel bad for words i used secondary to extreme provocation.

As per today’s Dunya newspaper advertisement, Millinium School is going to be built in Phase-8 Pindi & its classes starting date is 2017.
I have been regularly reading this thread since it had only 80~90 pages after that it was more of a fight but lets finish this for good of everyone,,
well since I'm a very newbie poster I would just ask my question Kindly guide me pleas:
Is it good to buy a plot of 10 Marla in Phase 8 C sector (FOR LIVING) and God forbid by bad luck if it comes to be of filling then what are the possible long term disadvantage of building a house on it (For living)even if i try making strong foundation.
Sirs, Kindly advise as I want to build a house for my family and don't know much about land stuff.

Filling area is bad but there are ways to come around the problem but one thing, you would never want to avoid, is “saving money on soil testing”.
Get a good reputable party for the soil testing and if unfortunately your plot comes in filled area:
You can do the following:
Build a basement.
If you plot happens to be in the deeply filled places, the basement alone would also not do. In that case you can hire a “compactor”. Go to city Saddar road and get a heavy diesel driven compactor plus the trained labor as not every laborer could do the compacting job.
Compacting with water and the consultancy of you architect, you can make foundation as safe as you can think…no problem but remember the 03 things:
Hire a good soil testing party
Get a heavy diesel compactor duly assisted with ample water supply.
Make arrangements with your architect in such a way that you could get his/her supervision at least for basement concrete, 9-12” with correct type of steel re-enforcement , foundation step and supervision prior to fill the roofs, meaning when shuttering gets ready for RCC.

Most of F1 is without filling, may be very few small sections could have some but not deep ones. Also sector E is mostly at cutting terrain and costing less than F1. You can consider E also which is costing around 45 good plot, a category one might go up to 48.
Called the Bahria Town help line to confirm the theme park location in phase 8, lady on the call said it is being built near N Block and Phase 8 extension. Planning to visit there to confirm if anything is happening on the ground.
Abdul Qayyum bahi i already purchased in F1 plot number 58 for 43.75. Its on height and couple of houses already built next to my plot. Do you think i pay fair price ? its purely for living purpose.

You got very good deal if you look into the future of the location. I am getting same news from different corners that this theme stuff will be built in distant areas to put some life in these dead sectors.
I am also working to get one for my brother in E or F1. You got a good deal.

Yes its filling there. But most of it its fine. But never buy before seeing ur self. Don't trust dealers. For example behind my plot the other plot is filling one. So be carefull
