I also received additional development charges letter from BT for my 5-Marla plot 75000 rupees in quarterly installments starting from 15th December. My brother who had plot in F1 also received such letter from Bahria in 2011, he paid these installments and finally got the possession in 2012. Although its pretty unfair to impose additional development charges but its a fact Bahria has done it. Usually, BT sends this extra charges letter for those blocks where development is about to complete. Now I guess, i would get possession of my plot in M-block within 2016. Lets see if my assessment is right or wrong
@Irfan. M block has some unacquired land. My feeling is that this additional money might be used for purchasing that land at present rates. Without getting that land it is not possible to even complete the main road of M block. I hope your expectations of possession by next year come true.
@Raza, if there is any unacquired land in M-block then there must be some legal issue involve in it. This news is something to worry about. I dont believe this land is unacquired only because of money. MR doesnt need our money to buy such small portion of land. He has been buying land in different cities of Pak without even announcing those projects.
Irfan brother I don’t have the inside info on this, but I am absolutely sure about this land issue because I have seen that spot myself. On another note, M block will also be the site for the proposed theme park in phase 8. This is also 100% confirmed and I even have evidence of this. Don’t know if its a good news or not.
@Raza bhai, M block seems free of litigation or land acquisition issues , bcz its in the center of acquired land(j/L/I etc, land issues are there in K block area, even j block 7 Marla area is developed and only its 10 Marla area is left behind and is in some rumors of having land issues ,but not authentic.THE rough and barren areas inside m block may be left over intentionally , bcz how could it be "that you acquire surrounding and center is not acquired?"
your news regarding theme park location is well on spot, its m block till now, but nothing on ground.
Dk sb I have no information about any litigation over M block land. This was just a conjecture by Irfan sb. As for your other question, if you drive around phase 8, you will come across many such “islands” of unacquired land, even in Bahria Greens.
If proposed theme park location is M-block then it would surely be good news for this block but i wonder if Bahria has ample space available in this block for theme park.
But the advertisement of Themem park if i remember correctl said that its already under construction.
There is no any issue in M block and development is near to complete.I heard that Bahria is going to give possession in 2016.
