I visited in last October and found some road works going in that area. Is it completed or still hanging in the air?
Also the new commercial strip, what's the situation there?

Any signs of development in Bahria Phase 8 Extension? Would it make sense to hold on to a 5 marla plot there or would it be better to sell it and invest elsewhere?

Development work is started in phase 8 extension a couple of months ago and bahria bought some new land in the area, not sure its still in swing or not but prices are rising gradually in extension and yesterday there was a news of ring road announcement by shahbaz sharif, if its true then the rates will definetly increase in coming days not only in extension but in all phase 8, so hold for a time being.
Bahria Orchard is still in negative. But after bypass it is set to rise. If Nisar keeps playing fool in sinking boat, as He is doing now, He will lose elections which means less harmful to Malik Riaz, meaning bypass likely to get link to phase-8 but MR has to invest big in phase-8 as DHA-3 is already ringing bells to affect BT’s reputation. DHA-3 is being considered as gold mine for some people and it might as a 5 marla in a compromised block in DHA-2 PROPER, in block J, is priced at 75 Lacs . Now think of DHA-3 located just on the GT road?
AQ sb, is there any new deals launching soon in Bahria Orchard on installments of 2 years for posession plots, please share details if any.

I do not know at the moment that this regards to the rise of bahria phase 8 but the following is happening this week for sure:
This lady " Mahrukh, Mahnoor, I forgot the name" is busy calling ALL bahria big dealers for their 100% availability on a video conference with Ali Riaz. None of the invitees knows the agenda but after MR gets clearance from court, big things are lined up to happen!
I will post the meeting contents after it is over this week, In Shaa Allah.
Malik Riaz case in supreme court is nearly resolved. This will perhaps absolve him of all the charges in consideration of Rs. 485 billion to be paid over a period of 8 years.
Good time is only around the corner for Bahria Town. If you are holding an asset there, then waiting time is almost over. BT is going to stir up the market in the coming months.

Only Malik Riaz knows his gut feeling upon such unbelievable situation, he has been put with!
He has been enjoying his reputation as a scared cow for almost 03 decades and was considered as untouchable.
He managed perfectly to give bad name to DHA and shined his Bahria by taking money from valley and spending on phase-8 and BTK. Dhadhoocha dam was his love bird as an excuse for valley delay!
Now he has been kicked out from valley, RDA not under his reigns for manipulations.
Now his own eyes are seeing DHA-2 , jumped up to an unprecedented levels and he is incapacitated to have it brought down!
I am sure he will do a big bang after he gets acquitted from court which is very obvious and buy Bahria files at gross levels and try his maximum to raise all BTs.
The takht Pari money & enclave payback is a peanut versus BTK payment and we will see, he will put all of his best horses in race.
I do not think all of Pak property will get a boost but BTs are big candidates for appreciation.
Moreover now not only DHAs are his rivals, zone-2 good societies , eighteen Islamabad, I-series, B-17, F-17, Gulberg and more have got solid entry in the race.
