G-14/1?

Hi all, i have an option to buy a plot 30x60 in g-14/1. Is it a good investment plan? I am hearing negative things about the development of g-14/1…Thats why a little reluctant…Need your professional advice folks…

Rabia this is the published news of "The News",

On receiving support from Islamabad administration and after the affectees have assured their full cooperation, the development work in sub-sectors G-14/2 and G-14/3, where the CDA is in possession of land, is in full swing, says an official of the federal government employees housing foundation (FGEHF).

The FGEHF is likely to start development work in sector G-15/3 in a couple of months to give possession of alternative plots to the affected people of sector G-14.

FGEHF director general Mian Talaat Rasheed, when contacted, told Ëœthe news that the foundation had asked its consultant to complete designing of sector G-15/3 and it was hoped that it would be completed in one month.

we have already mobilized some machinery in sector G-15/3 for ground leveling, but now the development activity will start as per plan, he said.

He said survey of built up property (BUP) in sector G-14/1 would start next week and task would be accomplished in one-month period. the affected people who earlier were not allowing survey teams to start their job, have now soften their stand on seeing machinery moving in G-14/2 and G-14/3, he said adding that the FGEHF management is monitoring the whole activity on weekly basis so that problems coming in the way could be addressed.

Dear rabia,

G-14/1 has a lot of possession problems due to heavy constructions in the area. I would suggest to go for some non disputed area in order to save urself from all kind of tensions. Thanks.

Ihsan there are possession problems in all non-developed cda sectors in zone 1. This is why there is a big margin of price difference between g-14/4 which is developed and the other subsectors of g-14 which are not developed. The risk is worth taking if the purpose is medium term investment. But if the purpose is to build a house and move in then it is much safer to invest in developed area.

Dear pk1 you are right, but the existing construction is g-14/1 area is relatively greater. Thanks

Thanks for your advice…I found a plot 30x60 in g-14/2 which is within my range…I am looking for a long term investment as i am an overseas pakistani…I think g-14/2 is still better than investing in g-14/1…What do you think?

Dear rabia. I would recommend you investing in e 12. The price in both the sectors are almost the same. However, location wise e 12 is way too good.

Hi salman thanks for your suggestion, actually i already have a plot 35x70 in e-12. I want to get one in g-14 as well…Just to divide the risk…
