I am planning to buy 10 marla 4th file from gulberg with 50% dp and rest in installments but some friend told me that instead of 4th file, go for converted file, both will cost the same but converted will have a chance of development soon vs 4th file. Need your expert opinion pls. I have budget of max 3 million.

For safe & secure investment, don’t go ahead for files deals.
Instead of 10 Marla file, better to invest for a 5 or 7 Marla plot with possession.
Gulberg’s history for delivering plots is not so good. People waiting from almost a decade for the possession of their plots.

Agree with your point but the fact of the matter is that the people are still earning a lot through price appreciation even with non possession plots.
Possession options should be safe. Files are files at the end of the day.

Your friend's advice is correct, Converted files were for flats which are now converted to plots at very discounted rates. These files are majorly expected to get adjust in P Block. $th files will take very long time to materialize, but converted files are expected to get adjust sooner on map. Rest ALLAH Knows better.
