I noticed lot of people are selling even un-constructed houses in BK. In addition I see very good prices on some constructed houses. I wanted to know if there is anything going on there. Like bhata khori, crimes etc. That people are leaving BK.
are you talking about Bhara Kahu Islamabad? Do you also live there ? I dont think that extortionists are there. It might be something else.

Hi Zain, Yes I meant Bhara Kahu (BK). I saw few under construction houses and also few good houses at very reasonable prices so wanted to know if something might be going on in that area that people are fleeing or something. No I don’t live there. I was browsing listings on Zameen.com.

Dear Shaz, you don't live there and don't know the ground reality. Where from this came to your mind that if houses are selling low, there is a problem with law and order? BK prices and rents are generally low due to low quality infrastructure. One should refrain from saying anything which one is not sure of. I have no stakes in BK am just giving a brotherly advice. Well, another reason can be that Housing Foundation has given add in newspaper about launching a new sector in Bara Kahu, people might be shifting their investments there.

Sorry guys, I didn’t mean to be negative but my question had a background. There is some news about bhata khori not generally in BK but Islamabad and surrounding areas. So I just wanted to know whether that could be having the affect. Infact my cousin lives there and I’ve been there couple times too. But just like Nasir sahib added that House Foundations’ new project might be causing people to shift their investments.
The Housing Foundation Project is not on ground as yet.

It is quite far with no infrastructure, so why shld prices be as high as other build up societies?
Location of Bara Kahu is very good. Easy access from Pak Sectt and Blue Area. Area is without town planning and price of these type of areas always remain low as compare to Planned societies.
Sale and Purchase of membership of Housing Foundation project in Bara Kahu is started before the launch of project.
