Water table is good. Electricity is supplied from I-16 grid station. Gas infrastructure is in place but supply status can be inquired from society office in Ministry Foreign Affairs compound on Constitutional Avenue.

FGEHF's project in i-16/3 other than around 50 houses in different streets with Water, electricity & Natural Gas already there. It will take hardly 2 years and the sector as a whole will be inhabited. With inauguration of new Islamabad airport and construction of ring road the value and accessibility of this area will improve miraculously.
Now come to Foechs Islamabad it has greater advantages over i-16. 1: its roads are wider. 2: its landscape is beautiful & terrain is kind of hilly. 3: It is under RDA where property taxes are comparatively lower than that of CDA. 4: It is more close to Thallian interchange. 5: A ravine forms Its natural boundary. 6: i-16 is situated on a mound where ground water table is very low or we can say pumping ground water is almost impossible. 7: FOECHS is on a slope hence there is no risk of flooding. 8: Due to a ravine running parallel water table is higher resultantly there will be no issue of water shortage during summer. 9: Most of the property sizes are 600 sq yards. 10: Moreover it's not like polluted F, G and B sectors close to G T Road due to stone crushing business in Taxila.
Currently land price in i-16 is Rs. 5 million for 10 Marla & Rs. 2.5 million for a 5 Marla plot. Do you know, why there is a big price difference despite FOECHS having plethora of advantages over i-16. 1: FOECHS was a closed society with no new membership hence investors couldn't get in while meanwhile they kept on investing in i-16. 2: The future of this area was not very certain because lots of projects were still in pipeline i.e New airport, access road to the airport & ring road etc. 3: Since most of the members live abroad, the elected body of FOECHS isn't very vibrant and enthusiastic.
My humble suggestion to the fellow members, let's endeavor and convince executive body to change the by laws and make the society closed again. Meanwhile friends please don't sell your properties on throw away prices and lets pledge to build our houses here; we can make it a wonderful community.
