My friend sold a property in pindi and the buyer backed out after paying the advance. He wants the money back and the seller doesn’t want to because he will have to start from the scratch. What are the options? Can seller do anything legally?
My understanding is that you will be able to deduct money from token/advance although I am not sure how much you should deduct. Maybe one of the experts will explain.
If deal was confirmed and both were agreed to execute on some certain date . After passing that curtain date you are not responsible for paying back the amount you have as token .
