In zone 2/5 islamabad what societies offer plots from 2 kanal to 4 kanal for house construction? Are these well reputed and developed/non-developed? How much budget should I be considering for 2 to 4 Kanal for initial plot purchase.

You must be talking about Islamabad farming cooperative society D-17/3

Is the D-17 Margalla View the same as Islamabad Co-operative Farming Scheme, Sector D-17? If yes, this is unauthorised in CDA list. Though in Pakistan this may not matter much but still there is risk involved and being overseas, I would like to avoid risks to as much as possible.

D-17 is sub divided into two sectors

1)Margalla view housing scheme D-17/2 (Residential scheme maximum size plot 2 canal) having CDA Noc

2)Islamabad farming cooperative society D-17/3 (Farm houses scheme minimum plot size 3 canal & maximum 10 canal) cooperative society under supervision of deputy commissioner/ circle registrar etc

Both are risk free and developed

@Usman thanks for the reply. What are the price range in D-17/3 for 3 to 6 Kanal plots? If risk free, another thing to look for is affordability.

Plot prices starts from 40 lac/kanal to 70 lac/canal

Following factors determine price of a plot

1)High transmission lines

2)Location (street/double road)

3)Corner/non-corner

4)Level/Depression

Farmhouses scheme in D-17 does not have NOC. So, is this not a risk in itself, may be very less, but I think still RISK is involved being declared illegal by CDA?
