Slum-dwellers of Farash town get allotment letters for their plots

So, the CDA has approved giving allotment letters to the Slum-dwellers of Farash Town. A total of 1,231 slum dwellers from Haq Bahu, Dhok Najju, Esa Nagri, and Muslim Colony were given three-marla plots previously but they were not allowed to transfer them for five years. These areas fall within the recognised slum areas (Katchi-Abadis of Islamabad.

But now, with the allotment letters, they can sell them to whomever they want. I read a piece of news which stated slum-dwellers taking the plots from the Farash Town but still living in slums. Meanwhile, others already sold their plots through private agreement.
