Are Pakistanis Inflating Same Property Bubble That Spain Did?

Recently we see each and every person in Pakistan is sort of property related. People coming from overseas are mainly buying properties and even trying to enter in property business creating huge saturation in this business. Its funny to see teenage college pupils buying and selling Bahria Karachi files like Rawrees.
Spain, in early 2000s, was on same track when they saw some economic declined and everybody put their investments on properties that resulted in a serious dis-balance and now Spain is full of properties and searching buyers. Economists have confirmed this attitude is the main reason of tremendous declined of Spain to be on floor of European economy.

Are we seeing similar fortune of Pakistan (that is already in worst situation). Will we be ending in burying billions (mostly overseas income) in sand and bricks? Will Pakistan become the Spain of Asia?

Population growth rate is a lot more different in Pakistan in comparison with Spain or whole Europe.

Pakistan also facing urbanisation due to terrorism and electricity crisis.

Pakistanio ka kam hai abadi barhana aur bahir se paisay lana. Jab tak yeh hoga, property business will fly… More babies, more remittances, more families, more houses, more corruption, more foreign aid etc etc

Plus all other business are also suffering very badly due to political and economic turmoil so it is the only way out for investment.

I am agreed with SAADI.

Junaid sab, you made me lol!

Beginner bhai, Yes jo lab ra he lai lo.

Dear Mr. Khan whats so big going to happen in coming days…please elaborate…

People predicted the same in early-2000 bubble, but since then urbanization and population displacement from security risk areas to big cities increased housing demand manyfold. These two factors are still there. So far you don't find any empty house in Islamabad. In Karachi, people have already settled on portionized ownership of houses.

So, until the house/plot supply matches or exceeds the demand, this bubble will continue to inflat. At the moment it is not in sight.
