B-17 is very far - then why so hot property?
F-15 is god option but not very good because development is very ordinary. G-14 is very expensive compared to B-17 or even F-15. Price wise and development wise B-17 I very attractive option. It is no doubt is few miles away from main Islamabad but when Margalla Avenue completes than in y personal view prices of B-17 will more than double than current prices.
In Taxila these days normal rate of per marla is 300,000/- so the current prices are still attractive. E-16/17 is also good option but society/management is dead slow.
@PK1,
B17 is a MPHS so it has an edge over others plus its location, and as the Margalla Avenue has been announced its prices have started to rise as when this project is complete, it will have the shortest access to Capital city. In addition to this all the crushers are moving out as already majority of them have relocated them selves due to non extension of their lease. So eventually this area will become dust free and one of the prime locations.

Dear PK1,
There is no comparison between F-15 and b-17 because in F-15 you can get a kanal possession plot around 55 lac but in B-17 you can get the same around 30 lac so budget wise if someone want to invest less money and need a big space B-17 is good and if budget is not a prob then F-15 is better then B-17 location wise.
I have heard the environment is very dusty on that side. Has government taken any serious steps to move them out coz they have been there forever.
I think B-17 would be a great option for people in taxila or around Wah cantt.
And am just thinking if a kanal plot costs 30 lac in B-17, why would one not take a 10 marla in Bahria phases 1 -6 or DHA proper? Because these two societies are much bigger and when fully populated will make a big part of the city.
@MBS
B-17 would be a great charm for all when Margalla Expressway is completed.

Just thinking out loud, why would someone not consider to buy a 10 marla plot instead with the same price in Bahria Ph 1-6 or DHA proper to remain close to Pindi and be a part of much bigger society.
OR buy a kanal in DHAI II Ext (in 30 lac easy), get possession in a years time and sit right next to ISB Highway?
DHA II ext will take time more then it plus the thing is that community who are working in central ISB they prefer g 15 f 15 b 17 and also after 5 years status of this area will be much higher then zone 5 due to new air port Margalla Avenue Motorway etc.
Yeah may be but I was just thinking when will this Margalla Avenue be completed? What is a reasonably expected time frame for it?
With in 2 years inshAllah CDA is trying to done this project within one year but that time frame is not practical. Suggestion for Margalla Avenue project division rejected.
And it will be a big change for zone 2 prices and land.
That’s very good, very happy to hear that.
MBS,
Who know about the time frame, trust me I cant tell. If I say three years it would be a wild guess... we all know how projects work out in our country. After all election year is near.

I am little curious that why Margalla Expressway is being quoted for the inflated price increase of b-17 plots when as per plan the road will link the gt road to d-12 with a 7 km drive and even after there is lot more time will be required to pass through the other sectors to reach to main Islamabad (like f-7,8, g-9 etc). Also the road is not going to be like Kashmir highway and will be just 12 feet road on its each side flooded with the massive traffic coming through the gt road to Islamabad. I also heard, don’t know how far this is true, that the avenue will be reserved for the high entry as the future airport is also planned and under construction on that side. We can’t snub this as the Islamabad people are already experiencing this on Khayaban e Soharwardi.
