I am going to try answer your question Sayeein, not because I can claim to know much but hoping to start a healthy discussion for the benefit of others, as I have no plan to buy or sell anything at this time. The reason for short term gain is that prices are at its bottom in bahria currently with no buyers in the market at least for files, although there seems to be a steady low level demand for possession plots by genuine buyers. Thus if you buy a file in an area which is close to possession, you can hope to earn some money in the short term as soon as possession is given. The precise reason is the pessimism prevalent in the market and no one is willing to pay anything for even a soon-to-be-possession-ready plot in the current bahria market. All please share your views, this is just my opinion, of course looking from a certain angle. Thanks
