Please advise what’s the best investment for a hard earned sum of 15-20 lacs.
I have wanted to ask advice from knowledgeable people here in this forum but get intimidated since compared to what people talk about here, it’s a very small amount. Today i thought some of you probably started with a small amount and allah then put barkat in it so i will go ahead and ask.

In my opinion, you should go for 5 marla DHA Lahore phase 9 files. Its a long term investment of about 3-4 years, but if you consider the roi (return on investment) and security of investment, then dha phase 9 is one of the most happening localities at present.
As you mentioned 'hard earned sum', so i can understand your concern. The 5 marla file is likely to cost no more than 1.4 million and you can save your remaining budget for buying a new car or changing the one that you already have. Secondly, for a small investor there is no point in releasing all his/her savings in a single commodity.

Thanks guys, appreciate you comments and apologies for not being specific about city. I am based in lahore so only looking locally.
@zain: thanks for recommendation on dha 9. It is one of the options in my shortlist but the price of the file has been hangging at 1.3-1.4 million for quite a while now and only due to the time frame. Dha development is not fast enough. I will resort to it if nothing else seems promissing.
