I would like to sell 2 dha files in islamabad so i picked up an agent who had adv similar property and appeared as trusted agent on zameen.Com
Talked to guy on other end who sounded reasonable, and now to open file the guy has asked me to send him my reciepts etc and explained i have to pay 1% commission
My questions is, is it ok to send my dha valley receipts and plot no to this agent whome i have not met (since i am out of country) and deal through it
What care and precaution i need to take to ensure agent etc and sellers will be fine and it's a save transactions?

Try to ask some of your relative or close/trusted friend, who is present in the country, to deal with the agent.

Agents are one of the best ways of buying property but one need to take more precautions when buying with these people as they tend to manipulate customers by quoting high value on lands etc.
One need to cross check on value by inquiring around your property for the market value of property, personally cross check with original documents of property that is being purchased, get certified copies in Sub registrar office will save you from any frauds with these agents
The secure way to proceed any business meet personally but as you mention you are not in pakistan just send any relative to your contacted agent along with your documents.
Actually I am in touch with finance of DHAI directly adn they seems to be supportive.... So far
so not involving agent at this point.
Well you can send him the copy of the receipts.
Ask him to clear it first why he is asking for that, may be he wants them to deposit it to DHAI for opening, he can not take it from DHAI until and unless the real owner is not present, so you need to he here to finalise the deal.
I think you just need to counter check the rate on which you are selling your file.
