CDA sector OR Bahria Town Islamabad

Salam to all,

Guys I am searching for a residential plot nearest to Islamabad city within 2,000,000 price range. Plot dimensions don't matter much it should be in between 5-10 marla. Actually my family wishes to live in Islamabad but I can't afford a plot or house in the main city so looking towards the housing societies like CDA sector and Bahria Town etc. Please tell me where should I buy the plot so that it would be nearest to the main city? Moreover I am planning to construct house within 3-4 years. Waiting for your sincere advice.

There is no need of advice. Look at your pocket if your pocket allow then buy in CDA sector and if your pocket does not allow then you can buy plot other societies like PWD, Bahria Town and many more.

What would you prefer? I mean just forget the price thing for a moment if you base your decision on standard living and nearest society to the main city?

Don't go to Islamabad Highway that is Asab zadda area. You can buy and build a house in I-14 Islamabad in this budget. Remember this is CDA sector and electricity & water etc available. More then 100 houses already started in this area.

Dear Sarmad,

I would suggest you to visit all the societies one by one as u feel convenient. Do comparison yourself and decide based on your preferences and budget. In my opinion and limited knowledge CDA sectors are good for long term investment and few of them are also good for living, specially those developed as private public partnership such as D-18, B-17, F-17 etc due to their standard of development. Bahria has high standards of development but you should also do some research regarding the cost of living in all societies, the distance from your work and other major facilities in the city.

Comparing between Zone 2 societies and Bahria, I’d go for Bahria.
