Please suggest what is better and secure to invest among Bahria 2-6 and DHA-II. Also keeping in view their governing bodies, what is better to choose for constructing own home.

I guess Bahria ph 2-6 is better then DHA II because of the facilities e.g. mini golf club, zoo, clubs, best brands, mall, cinema/arena, ace academy, schools etc… DHA II is a govt. society and can never match to standard of Bahria. I guess the days of govt. housing societies are over! As the govt. is bankrupt now… even DHA has to partner with Bahria because they don’t have enough funds/money to work with out Bahria! It’s the age of private companies now! 
Yes, Bahria offers great facilities, but it's the same fact of being a private org with number of cases filed upon that makes me skeptical of its future.
DHA is run by on service generals so they might have low funds but the confidence of being a government institution remains. Why do people like CDA sectors irrespective of their worst performance and development speed?
Because after all its a government thing, which might be slower but gives you the confidence and trust.
I agree with you that people had confidence and trust in govt type societies like DHA and CDA in the past but what I am trying to say is that the times are changing. You are right peopl like old CDA sectors but now see the trust peopl have in new CDA sectors? Compared to trust peopl have in Bahria or MPCHS new projects. The CDA, DHA and the govt. are in a bad financial crunch! And this will last for many years so we have no option now to trust the big housing corps. with the money. :)
Many serving generals are the most corrupt people in the country. It is because of these people our dear country is going bankrupt! So why should any one trust them! And now they too are begging private corps. like Bahria to give them money to complete their own projects. :)

I have been following your post but these last two posts that i answer for now.
I agree that Bahria is not good but a very good society, but at the same time it be wrong to say that Govt. societies are going bankrupt. CDA sectors are always going to be valued over any society. After all there is only one Capital City in any country. Yes until unless all the trade and business offices move to any private housing society will only then they be valued more and considered prestigious.
Its kind of a status thing too, even people living in Bahria town tell their friends that they are living in Islamabad regardless of extended zones.
Regarding finding a good agent, it is upto you to judge and see and then decide for your self and i am sure you will find good agent for what you are hunting for.

For residential purpose, I would choose Bahria Town over any society because everything there is just top notch. If I were to invest for better profits, CDA sectors should be my first choice.
If Bahria, then I would prefer Bahria Golf City. It's only 15 min drive from Islamabad.
