Since both property prices and construction material prices are on the rise, I was wondering if you guys can give me an updated cost estimate for the construction of a 3 and 5 marla house in Lahore or Islamabad.
Also, is it better to work with a developer firm or hire independent workers?

I agree that outsourcing is an easier option but I have heard horror stories about faulty materials, bad wiring and awful plumbing that makes people regret handing over the construction to someone. How do you address these problems?

You focus on Monitoring the Progress, Quality, Budget etc
This is the best use of your energy.
Let the Labor Contractor earn few pennies, but you avoid the inherent troubles and tensions of dealing with the labor directly.
