Have anyone heard of Danial Town Islamabad. My brother got two plots there on installment and now they are saying for a lot more development charges.

Please be aware, due to increase in prices in property many fraud schemes could be initiated. Go with solid name or who are giving possessions. Not sure about this scheme. You need to meet with scheme officials or go to their office.
Societies do have the right to ask for extra development charges. They have this in terms and conditions and the contract we sign so we have to pay otherwise they have the right to withdraw booking and possibly wont make any profit. Mostly known to everyone is bahria town which is known for charging extortionate development charges, plus extra development charges so this is normal, but ensure its reputable society as i have limited knowledge of this denial town so i would recommend that you buy in a highly reputable society to ensure maximum security.

Sir refrain from investing in such societies.These are mostly run by incapable and non professional people.
Yes there are a couple of societies around there where new owners have taken over and renamed. There was a similar one which is now known as senate employees co operative housing society. But what happens to the original investors?
Similar place is for sale near mumtaz city near h-9, 500 kanal society. the obvious scam is that they buy the full sector really cheap. they split the plots, advertise to investors / buyers and sell the full existing society after the booking is closed or almost to the end. So the end purchaser of the plot loses out as the society is renamed and gets noc from other authorities... So be careful. Stick to existing big name brand societies that have high repute.

Yeah i knw mumtaaz city, that was the scheme my brother got fraud with, quite sad for him and us!
