What is the location?

Not heard about it yet in black and white.

What are the rates?

It is almost on back side of BZU with enterance on bosan road. The price of the land is around 55 lacs/acre (depending on moza). Investors will get around two DHA Multan plot files against one acre and projected price of one file is around 40 lacs.

@ Tehmas Sheikh. Please provide some information about expected pace of project. In recent projects like DHA phase 8 lahore duration of file launching to possesion is around 12 years, in MULTAN are we expecting some thing different? Secondly, its said that its a mega project (probably biggest by DHA), if so, is that feasible in city like multan?

I see it as a long term thing and Current file price of around 4 Mn is too high.

It is definitely a long term investment as the market of Multan is generally very slow, the image of DHA to boost will take sometime as there are only 2 askari colonies with limited houses...............

The price of 4M for a file at this stage seems to be a dealers game, those who will stuck here can't come out atleast till 5 to 6 years. Yes after 5 to 6 years they will earn in Millions but this is my speculation only time will tell..........

DHA phase 8 took a long time as it was the 8th phase of DHA in a same city. Ground realities are different in case of DHA Multan. They have already planned to start development next year and Insha’Allah after that possession will start. As far as multan is concerned, it is going to be a next metropolitan city. There is a very huge potential for DHA as Multan is the largest city of south Punjab. Moreover, 4m is not a very high price for a kanal plot in DHA phase 1. Wapda town costs around 7 lacs/ marla. Good thing about multan market is its not volatile. Prices usually remain steady.

DHA is a unique addition and it might bring its own characteristics to the market -the hikes and dips.

It could be expected that prices may go down if it doesn't get to ballot in reasonable time.

@Tehmas I agree on the potential of multan market but its a far stretch to expect development next year. I will be amazed even if they get to formal announcement and completion of land acquisition in a years time.

@Tehmas enlighten us on this please, the dealers are expecting that the site will be a stretch from Bosan road to Matti Tal road with southern limits on multan public road. If that's true then the size of development will be no less than 4-5 phases of dha Lahore which cant be the case.

Whats the real thing. Whats the expected size in acres/kanals?

@MBS… Yes, DHA is currently aquiring lands which falls between the triangle made by bosan road, matti tal road and northern bypass. It comprises of almost 3000 to 4000 acres of land. Moreover, we have high hopes from DHA Multan and they have planned to start development next year which I think is quite possible. Well lets hope for the best.
