Yes it will boost property business. Especially on this side of Islamabad highway business will surge due to re-numbering of phase. The whole idea behind it is to encourage genuine house construction buyers to come here.
Dear members. Please stop pointing fingers on others and all personal accusations, we are here to discuss only properties and government/DHA Islamabad policies regarding these specific properties. This forum has been very informative and helpful for all the members who are away from Islamabad.I don't know Saadi saheb personally but his and some other people's feed back was most of the times very useful to me and I thank all such persons for their feed back.
Lets come to the point I am afraid that switching of sectors K to Q from phase 2 to phase 5 can be harmful towards the pace of development work and prices in phase 5. Because now in my opinion the DHA Islamabad may come under obligation to complete development of phase 3 than phase 4 and in the last complete phase 5 in this order. Please correct me if my opinion is not logical.

Anees sir thanks for your kind words…Sir dha has no such obligations to move in a numbered order instead the order of priority for development would go hand in hand with the area of allotment to the army officers since dha always develops the area allotted to the army officers on priority basis.Renumbering of the phase is surely a good omen but definitely phase 5 cannot compete with phase 2 for the next half of a decade. Phase 2 is surely an unbridled horse with solid dynamics and amazing potential for growth.Focus of dha itself is largely on phase 2 these days.

For the long run, DHA-5 should be a better bet. The sheer size of DHA Expressway and area of DHA housing planned on this side indicates that this will be the largest DHA cluster of phases. On this side you have, DHA-5, DHA-2 extension, DHA Valley and DHA-Emaar. And piercing through all of this is DHA Expressway. On this expressway there will be some of the best commercials of the city.
