Dear experts I wish to buy 1 Kanal affidavit in DHA as soon as possible. I am very much interested in Z Block but there is no location for Z Block and don't know how long will it take to get possession please guide me which one is better either Z Block or 9/10. Reply as soon as possible.

Dear Shahid sb; your question is incomplete. Please let us know Z-block of which phase? I think you are talking about phase 8. If yes; then I think phase 8 location is much better than phase 9. Although z-block location is not announced as yet but it would be close to other blocks of phase 8 whereas phase 9 is little away.
I have purchased 10 marla file in October 13 in DHA Phase 8 Z block. I heard this block is very small as compared to DHA phase 9, so having good chance. Yes, location is also a matter of concern for me as well.
Anyone have any information regarding location and balloting date etc?

Nobody has any exact information about the location and balloting of phase 8 Z block. As per rumors; its location is opposite to S-block which is far away and not good at all. This is the reason why its file prices are same as phase 9 files although development is going on in other blocks of phase 8. Furthermore; its development would be very late (around 4-5 years). DHA is too slow in development.

We have been hearing phase 9 balloting news from last two years but nothing happened as yet. Dealers spread these rumours just to keep the file price firm. These days phase 9 files are under pressure and its becoming difficult for big dealers to keep its price stable. Some of the respectable members of this forum also have the same views. DHA always keep it very secret regarding the balloting date. Whatever u hear tbe date of balloting, are just rumours.

I’d suggest to consider a smaller plot in block X or Y of phase 8 instead of Z block. Phase 9 files - not recommended in my opinion.
Thanks to you Irfan and MBS, Irfan No doubt Allah Knows well but logically I feel you are right because roughly investors own 70% of the files so these rumours are only to keep the prices firm otherwise last month I kanal file was around 45 now its again 49.
I agree with the suggestion of MBS. You can go for 10-Marla plot in Y-block of phase 8.
What would be expected price of 10 marla? Can i sell my DHA phase 8 Z block plot before getting allotment letter and paying membership fee?
At the end of December 13 i will get allotment letter from DHA.

10 Marla price in phase-8 Block-X and Block-Y range between 55-65 lacs… I would recommend block-Y, because this whole block is designated for 10 marlas and 5- marlas… In X-block all good locations are for 1-kanal and above plots… Plus the sports complex for phase-8 is also planned to be in Block-Y… Also its on the inner side of ring road. Right at the end of DHA Phase-5
