JKCHS one of the best locations of Zone 2 but unfortunately management was very worthless. Now election is very near, in March care taking committee will control the charge and election expected in 1st week of June.
Also from some authentic sources got to know that CDECHS election will be held very soon maybe in March or April this is also a good sign.
Same year E 19 election is also expected. Lets hope for the best.

Unfortunately I changed my address and have not updated my current address with the society so am not receiving any letters etc. Can the address be changed on phone or do I have to go in person and it will be done on the same day? Thanks

Do you think Ch Majeed Sb will remain as the GM? Any major shakeup to be expected? Which candidates are strong and for which positions?

Whom shall we vote for? Everyone is optimistic to shake things up but when they get seat in the committee they do absolute nothing, instead finds ways of pocketing themselves, how do we know who to vote for? Any suggestions for each society?

Ch. Majeed Sb, is GM, which is not the elected post... So he will not be contesting......
Any member can contest for elections against any post. Last date for submission of nomination forms is 22nd Jan, 2014.
Final list of candidate will be published on 13 Feb, 2014. Once the list will be published, then you will be in a position to know, who are contesting ans for which posts.
Afterwards, the candidates will announce their manifestos and agendas... Then you will be able to see who they are and how good they are...
You need to visit Multi Headoffice more if you want to be part of this all process.

I don't think the elections take place every where, although, I am not aware of exact tenure period.
You need to call 051 - 111 631 632....... But I think physical presence will be required for change of address...

in jkchs there will be 2 or 3 major groups , this election will be very thrilling in jkchs.
In cdechs ist time proper election will be held there is chance of a 2nd group by ex sec of cdechs.
Mpchs election will be one sided as already this group repute is v positive

I would prefer to see a one to one contest in JKCHS. I have never voted in any society elections so far but I will definitely like to vote this time as I think JKCHS management haven’t done full justice to this society despite the tremendous advantages that the society has over others in Zone 2. If I have two plots in the society does that mean that I get to cast two votes? Thanks.
I don’t think there will be any difference in MPCHS. All eyes are on JKCHS and CDECHS and these need a complete management overhaul!

in cdechs old management is v strong may be contest will be one sided
I think this is the right time to invest in JKCHS Zone-5, because of its prices, and a project of co-operative housing society.
