I want to ask senior members how they see the future of bahria garden city. Is it good from investment's perspective and what if one wants to live there. How long do you think it may take to be fully developed ? Do you this can be a posh area as location is perfect and the landscape is stunning do you think it's a good idea to get a 1 kanal plot there and how do you see the prices ?

Garden City is a relatively new project and not much real estate activity is on there so i can't say anything about the prices but i do know that location and landscape wise, this is one of the prettiest projects of Bahria Town. Since the buyers are not drawn to the locality as they should, i expect the rates to be quite reasonable there, which makes now a great time for investment in Garden City.
Most of all, under the banner of Bahria Town, Garden City is likely to get clearance from the concerned authorities and will soon become The Place to live in Islamabad.
I am waiting for the senior contributors' opinion, hopefully they will agree with me.

Totally agree with Samra above, even though i am not a senior member but what she says simply puts all pieces of the puzzle together.
Thanks Samra for your great input, I agree with you, but does any one have any idea how long will it take to be fully developed assuming the current development pace ? As far as the pricing goes I heard 1 Kanal start from 8 Million which I believe is not a small amount. So it worth investing or for living purpose?
