Reliable sources said three big housing schemes adjacent to Islamabad Motorway had started to construct joint entry gates to access the motorway through proposed link road of New Benazir Bhutto International Airport in order to increase the prices of plots overnight.
According to documents available with express investigation cell, the expressed their great concern over the controversial entry points, which the NHA had accorded approval to without consulting them.
Taking strong exception to the development, motorways deputy inspector general (dig) Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja, immediately blocked the illegal access by exercising his powers. He also intimated the NHA inspector general Islamabad about the event wide a letter no nhmp-5(1)dig(m)14/28 on January 8, a copy of which was also forwarded to the NHA chairman.

Can anybody tell the name of societies in this news or the one whose entry is blocked
University Town could be one of them i think. I always thought it was strange to allow them a proper gate on motorway. What do you think?
University Town never got access from motorway. I think these socities are Top and Mumtaz city and maybe AWT though not sure about it.
Usman TOP CITY is clear, it is linked with motorway via Thalian interchange. No gate has been made from TOP/ Mumtaz city. Dont pass comments once u dont have complete information. In this way your are misleading people.
Currently topcity is linked with fateh jhang road.
Thallian interchange is not operational yet.
Khurram, top city had link on motorway which was taken and now it is Fateh Jang road as stated by Shahid. You can see many threads regarding this on this forum. Prices were also effected due to this of top city.
@Usman Hassan. AWT has no relevance to this news as it is not located next to the airport nor on any of the link roads. Its access is on the M 1 motorway through the approved interchange at Sangjani, which is currently under construction. This news is about illegal entry/exit points, not the official interchanges.
Well it doesnt help when these news reports come out and they don’t name which societies they are. On the one hand they want the advertisement money, but then they dont want to run negative press.

The guess is very simple three adjacent societies at junction are;
University town, TOP CITY and Mumtaz City.
Dear IS and Usman, TOP/ Mumtaz city has yet to establish a link with motorway and tha too via Thalian Interchange, which is non operative yet. So please correct ur self. Moreover dont believe blindly , the newspapers, because they take very little time to make u king and then a thief, its all about money.
Usman, the temporary route which was blocked of TC was via KH, not motorway:)
