I will be glad if someone can give me advise on investing the subject mentioned amount in Bahria Town. I can hold it for 2-3 years and would like a good profit. I can consider installments option too if the rate is higher than this.

If you are talking about Islamabad Bahria Town, Bahria Enclave, and , Garden City are good options. As you won't get any developed plot in Phase 8, all you can get in phase 8 would be a file.
Nasir bhai; even 5-Marla file in Phase-8 (L, M, N blocks) would be expensive than 1.5 Million.
