I am an overseas pakistani. I want to invest 5 to 7 crores in property in islamabad so as to generate an income, can any members suggest what i should invest in? Is this even a good time to return to pakistan, considering all the problems?

For risk free investment you can go for CDA developed sectors. You can also go for DHA and Bahria. MPCHS can also be a very good option. Thanks
I think you can surely generate good returns in real estate in Pakistan at this time. My advice to you would be to break it up into chunks and don’t put all of it in one place/project, specially if you are thinking commercial properties. Spread it out amongst different options and you should see a sustained growth in your portfolio.

SyedAmjad sb., thank you too, sir. I totally agree with you one should not put all ones eggs in one basket as far as investments go. When you said "break it up into chunks", what did you have in mind exactly? What kind of options? I am basically an investor, but not a speculator......
Sir my opinion would be a commercial plot in bharia+a commercial plot in dha+plus a commercial unit in f-10 etc…many other combinations can also be considered…
